sowarcraft3 drop out of The Plantronics UKDota.net Invitiational.
Sadly this evening we've received the word that the sowarcraft3 roster featuring; Alex, Craig, Luke, PaulGG & Zied will be pulling out of the event. In their stead will be the Campus Party LAN winners 'Wat A Stack' featuring two of the Dotatalk winning Reason Gaming side.

Multiplay's Insomnia 49, the UK's biggest gaming festival has come to an end once again. Today was the final day of the event and the finals for the Dota2 tournament was played between against All authority the French favourites and Reason Gaming the UK's last hope.

This is the true test of teams mettle, mistakes and slip ups here cost games and thus prize money. The bracket is double elimination meaning you've got two chances in the real slugfest of best of three games.

Insomnia49 Qualifier Finals
While the Dota world turns its mighty head to Seattle for the International weekend, we will be warming up the day with the finals of the Insomnia49 Online Qualifiers. After three long weeks of intense matches, both anticipated stomps and surprises, just six teams retain the possibility of taking first prize.
The games start at 11am on the 3rd of August and will be finished before The International broadcast begins. Casting will be on the Multiplay Twitch Channel with Mr Blakadder and Durka.

Insomnia 49 Dota 2 UK Quals Round of 16 Results
A long weekend of exciting games saw the top 16 teams battle for their place in the winner bracket semi-final. With only six teams making it through Sunday afternoon, the stakes were high and the games were tense.

Insomnia 49 Qualifier Elimination Brackets Tomorrow
Now, all of the group stage matches are finished and the games are becoming a lot more exciting, not that they weren’t already! With some of the best teams in the UK still competing, there still a lot of cheer for. Teams will be competing against each other for the Plantronics GameCom 780 headsets and tickets to the Insomnia 49 LAN event. The playoffs will be taking place tomorrow, with games beginning at 2PM.

i49 Online Qualifier Finals date change!
Due to Valve releasing the schedule for The International, the dates and times for our online qualifier finals have been slightly changed.

Plantronics GameCom Cup Series Concludes!
The Plantronic GameCom Cup Series hosted by Multiplay in partnership with UKDota.net has concluded. Our victors and winners of the GameCom 780 headsets were One Trick Pony! They also enjoyed a hefty £100 from this cup alone followed by our runners-up who were RP who won £50. We would also like to congratulate RP on their sponsor as they are now known as n!faculty!
