This is your moment UKDota. All the countless hours of scrimming, drafting and raging and winning might give you a shot at the biggest esports event in the UK. If you think you can back up all the big words, or even if you just want to compete for a bit of fun and a few moments in the spotlight, the Insomnia49 Dota 2 UK Online Qualifier sponsored by Plantronics and in association with UKDota.net, over the next few weeks are the perfect opportunity.

Over the next three weekends namely; the 20th, 21st, 28th of July and the 4th of August, the online qualifiers will take place. 

First Place winners will receive tickets to Insomnia49 or Insomnia50 and five Plantronic GameCom 780 Headsets, second place runners up will receive five Plantronic GameCom 380 headsets.

This tournament is only available to UK teams who are capable of attending the Insomnia Gaming Festivals 49 event.  A UK team is defined as a team which has 3 or more members who reside in the UK.

Signups will be strictly limited to 32 teams and spots in the tournament will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. On the day of group stages, any team that does not check in before the start of the first game will be replaced.

The tournament format will be group stages followed by double elimination, with a maximum of 32 teams. Group stages and lower brackets will be best of one. Winner’s brackets rounds of 16 and 8 will be best of 1. Winner’s bracket semifinals and finals will be best of 3.
